why hair:

Since I was young, i’ve been blessed with unruly curly hair, and my hands have always been in it. Having no choice, hair became a part of my life and passion. I left law school to pursue my true passion, and I trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy.
I believe that in hair there are no limits to creativity. I love finding the beauty in everyone, to make their individuality come through. After all, hair completes your look and brings out your unique features. That makes you feel happy and confident, which makes me happy!

favorite burger:

The classic backyard BBQ burger. Something about the feel of summer, good company, and the taste of a charbroiled burger does it for me. I love a good seasoned and garlic infused patty with lettuce, tomato, onions, Tabasco, ketchup and mushrooms.

My mom and I came in for haircut, style & highlights. We were recommended to Doreen and it was one of the best experiences. I can’t believe I ever trusted anyone else to do my hair.
First, the shampoo and scalp massage felt very relaxing. She talks to you about what you want and what she recommends and then makes art. I love my hair and so does my mom. My mom got the highlights and they lasted longer than they have at any other salon.
Also, I happen to have curly hair and have a difficult time finding anyone that really knows how to layer it so it looks good when I wear it curly and when I decide to straighten it. Not this time!
Overall, I’ve never had a better experience and wouldn’t work with anyone other than Doreen.
