why hair:

In high school, I loved styling and coloring my friends and my hair but I never thought of it as a career. So I went to college to become a teacher until I taught sunday school and as much as I love kids, I couldn’t see myself doing it 5 days a week. One day my mom mentioned that I should go to beauty school and that was that. I realized years later it was my moms dream and she never had the opportunity, so I’m living it for the both of us. I thank her for giving me the opportunity to do what makes me happy and whether it be a haircut or color making my clients happy!

favorite burger:

Hop Haus, Chicago! So yummy. First of all they make all their burgers with a pretzel bun. Do I have to say anymore?! But I will. They have about 30 different types of sliders and they’re not just a piece of meat with 2 wimpy slices of bread but gourmet sliders. Spicy lobster salad slider, steak and fried egg slider and if you prefer just a regular Good ‘ol cheese slider they have those too. They also have regular burgers that will put you in a food coma if you’re up for it. I may be a lady but I’m a beast at Hop Haus!
