why hair:

When I was a teenager a friend asked me to cut their hair. It didn’t occur to me that I had to learn how, my hands just knew what to do, and they’ve known it ever since.  I really enjoy doing creative work with my hands, and hair is a very gratifying material to work with. In a short amount of time I can create something complete, make someone’s day, and get to spend time with people in an intimate way.  By far, the best thing about being a hairdresser are the people it’s brought into my life who have become my dear friends and family.

favorite burger:

Tel Aviv’s Burger Ranch, but in a pinch, a McDonalds Big Mac will suffice.

what people are saying about sharon:

Sharon has been cutting my hair for ten years. She does cut and color every time. I adore her. She is smart and fun and I love going to see her because she is so good at balancing creativity (she’s a genius with hair) and pragmatics (I have never been shocked, but I have never been bored,either).
She knew what to do with my hair when I played professional volleyball. And, as I transformed myself into a corporate marketing type, Sharon knew how to transform my look to reflect who I was changing into. I think one of the hardest things in life is to envision who we want to be and where we are going. So many times, Sharon has been able to help me envision the change I want to make before I’m able to articulate it.
